Avloclor 250mg Tablets contains Chloroquine Phosphate which is used for the prevention of Malaria.

Suitable for:

• Travellers that are at a higher risk of malaria (such as long term travellers).
• May have severe complications from malaria (such as the elderly - 70 years plus ).
• The immuno-suppressed.
• Those with complex co-morbidities.
• Pregnant women.
• Infants and young children.

Specifically for the areas of HONDURAS, NICARAGUA and BELIZE.

This Anti- Malarial is not Licensed to be supplied as a Prophylaxis for the symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Adults:
Two tablets taken once a week, on the same day each week.

Children:
Do not give to children under one year of age.
The following single dose taken once a week on the same day each week.

1-4 years: ½ Tablet.
5-8 years: 1 Tablet.
9-14 years: 1½ Tablets.

Adults and Children:
Start 1 week before exposure to risk and continue until 4 weeks after leaving the malarious area.
Do not exceed stated dose.
