Vitamin A

Vitamin A is the general name given to a group of substances that include retinol, retinal and carotenoids; these are found only in animal produce.

Another important substance is Beta Carotene, a precursor to Vitamin A. It is found in carrots, peppers, leafy greens and fruit.

Vitamin A is essential for:
