Sun Protection SPF 50+

Protection Level: SPF 50+ blocks 98% or more of UVB rays. Sunscreens with SPF 50+ are designed to offer maximum protection. The "+" indicates that the sunscreen has been tested to provide more protection than the standard SPF 50, though the additional protection is minimal (e.g., SPF 60 or SPF 70).

Usage: Applying SPF 50+ sunscreen is a breeze. You can apply it generously and evenly on all exposed skin. Applying sunscreen 15-30 minutes before sun exposure is recommended to allow it to fully absorb into the skin, ensuring you're fully protected.

Reapplication:
Reapply sunscreen at least every two hours and more frequently if you are swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Water-resistant sunscreens are a good choice if you plan to be in the water or engage in activities that cause sweating.

Broad-Spectrum:
Ensure the sunscreen is labelled "broad-spectrum," meaning it protects against UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays can cause premature skin ageing and contribute to skin cancer, while UVB rays are the primary cause of sunburn.

Amount:
Apply sunscreen to the entire body, about one ounce (approximately a shot glass full). Most people need to apply more sunscreen, which significantly reduces its effectiveness.

Skin Types:
SPF 50+ is a versatile choice, suitable for all skin types. It's especially beneficial for individuals with fair skin, a history of skin cancer, or other conditions requiring higher protection levels. No matter your skin type, SPF 50+ has got you covered.

Additional Protection:
Sunscreen should be part of a comprehensive sun protection strategy, including seeking shade, wearing protective clothing, hats, and sunglasses, and avoiding peak sun hours (10 AM to 4 PM).

SPF 50+ sunscreen can help protect skin from the sun's harmful effects, significantly reducing the risk of sunburn, skin damage, and skin cancer.
