SMA Gold Prem 2 Post Discharge Formula is designed for the use of dietary management of preterm low birthweight babies upon discharge from hospital or when a low birthweight formula is no longer appropriate.

SMA Gold Prem 2 is a nutritionally complete formula with 100% Whey, partially hydrolysed protein and Omega 3 and 6 LCPs, which provides higher levels of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals compared to typical infant milks. SMA PRO Gold Prem 2 Post Discharge Formula is specially balanced for your baby's needs if they have been born low birthweight or preterm.

Mix 1 scoop of powder to 30 ml (approx.1 fl. oz.) of water. 3 scoops added to 90ml of water make 100ml of milk.
Use within 3 weeks of opening.

1. Wash hands well. Wash and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturer's instructions.
2. Boil 1 litre of fresh tap water. Allow boiled water to cool for no more than 30 minutes. Measure the appropriate amount of water into a bottle carefully. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
3. Using the scoop provided, add the appropriate amount of powder scoops, levelling off each scoop. Store the scoop in suspension inside the can and replace lid.
4. Place the teat on the bottle and shake well until powder is fully dissolved. Cool beaker/bottle under cold running water or in a bowl or jug of cold water until lukewarm, do not immerse the teat. Test temperature by shaking a few drops onto the inside of your wrist.

SMA recommend that breast milk is best for babies. This product must be used under medical supervision. SMA Gold Prem 2 Post Discharge Formula for preterm and low birth weight babies who are not solely fed breast milk. It is suitable for use as the sole source of nutrition for infants up to 6 months. Professional advice must be followed on the need for and proper method of use of SMA Gold Prem 2 and on all matters of infant feeding. SMA Gold Prem 2 is not intended for use with newborn preterm babies, for whom fortified breast milk or a low birthweight formula is more appropriate.
