  • Children: not recommended for under 12 years of age.
How to use Eumovate Cream
Eumovate is for short-term treatment of patches of inflamed, red, itchy or dry skin caused by eczema or dermatitis. The cream should be applied thinly to the patch. Use twice a day. If severe redness, itchiness or dryness continues for more than 7 days, you should consult your doctor.

By treating the inflammation early, you calm it down and prevent the need to scratch the skin. Because scratching makes the skin worse, early treatment of the itching will help. Eumovate will help to relieve the symptoms of itching and inflammation. You may also like to see our itching page for further treatment of itching.

If Eumovate does not work, you could be suffering from another condition such as an infection. If your skin is yellow as well as crusty, then this is likely to be the case and you should then visit your doctor who may prescribe antibiotics. It is also important when using Eumovate that you try to eliminate any irritants that you think may be causing the problem in the first place.
Eumovate should not be used on the face, groin, genitals or between the toes. Avoid contact with the Eyes.
