OptiFibre Powder is soluble dietary fibre that blends with hot or cold drinks without affecting taste or texture for the dietary management of patients with intestinal transit disorders. This powder is a nutritionally incomplete Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision.

Directions for Use:
To be used under medical supervision. Suitable for children above 3 years old.

Take 5-25g of OptiFibre daily or as recommended by a healthcare professional. All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 6 hours at room temperature, or within 24 hours if refrigerated.
Start with the lowest dosage and increase dosage gradually to suit individual requirements.
Total dietary fibre intake should not exceed 35g per day.

Adults: Add 1 level scoop (= 5g OptiFibre = 4.3g soluble fibre) into 200ml (min 100ml) of liquid or 150g of food. Stir until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not use with carbonated drinks.

Children: For children, it is recommended to start with half a scoop per day.

Cautions:

• Not suitable for children >3 years of age.
• Do not exceed 35g of OptiFibre daily.
• The addition of fibre can cause distension, bloating or flatulence. If this occurs decrease dosage and any further addition of the product.
• Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
• For optimal solubility, do not use in carbonated drinks or sparkling water.
• Once opened, use within 8 weeks.
