Mepilex Border is a sterile, soft silicone foam dressing for low-exuding wounds, such as pressure ulcers, abrasions and surgical wounds. The dressing is self-adherent, waterproof, breathable, and consists of a flexible absorbent pad. When the dressing is removed, the Safetac can minimise patient pain and trauma to the skin and wound.

Directions of use:
  1. Clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
  2. The wound pad should cover the dry surroundings by at least 1-2cm.
  3. After removing the first release film, apply to the wound
  4. Remove the second release film and gently smooth down the border on the skin.
  5. Do not stretch the dressing when applying.
Precautions
  • Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the dressings ingredients
  • Do not use if the dressings sterile barrier is damaged or open
  • Single use dressing, do not reuse.
  • Any sign of infection, contact your health care professional for appropriate treatment.
