Recovering from a caesarean section can take time, and comfort is especially important during the postnatal period. Lansinoh C-Section Hydrogel Pads are designed to provide a cooling, soothing sensation around the C-section incision as you recover after birth.
These hydrogel pads are a useful addition to your postnatal care essentials, helping you focus on rest and recovery in the early days after a caesarean delivery.

Directions of use:
Use from 10 days post-surgery, once your midwife has assessed the incision to ensure it is clean, closed, and dry, to help prevent infection. Ensure the area is clean and dry before applying the hydrogel pad. Open the pouch and remove the gel pad, then peel back the release paper on the side marked

1. Gently place the gel side of the pad directly over your closed incision site. Apply the pad by massaging the area smoothly from the centre outward, then remove the release paper from the marked side.
2. For an extra cooling effect, refrigerate unopened pads before use.

To remove, hold the centre of the pad and gently pull the edge outward to release the adhesive. Continue to pull the edge, stretching it outward (not upward) and in the same direction as hair growth.
