DuoDerm Extra Thin 5cm x 10cm Single Dressing

DuoDerm Extra Thin is a sterile hydrocolloid dressing designed for low-exuding wounds. It features an adhesive polymer matrix with a protective polyurethane film outer layer. The dressing helps maintain a moist wound environment to support the healing process and is designed to allow gentle, non-traumatic removal. DuoDerm Extra Thin dressing is suitable for use on superficial pressure sores, post-surgical wounds, ulcers (including diabetic foot ulcers) and burns.

Contraindications
Do not use if sensitive to the dressing or its components. Topical steroids should not be used with DuoDerm Extra Thin dressing.

Directions of use

1. Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin
2. Remove the backing paper and film, trying to minimise contact with the adhesive surface
3. Apply the dressing by gently rolling over the wound, leaving 3cm beyond the wound
4. Do not stretch the dressing
5. Mould into place with hand and secure around the wound
6. In difficult locations, secure the edges with hypoallergenic tape
