An important message from Express Chemist

In these unprecedented times due to COVID-19 we are listening to the latest advice from the government and their health specialists. We are continuing to work in these challenging times so that we can serve the needs of our customers.

Please note that we are receiving a particularly high volume of orders, enquiries, telephone calls and emails. We are working exceptionally hard to process orders and respond to customer enquiries as quickly as possible. Unfortunately it is currently taking a little longer to process and dispatch orders than usual, so please allow 2-3 working days for shipment.

Please also note that postal services and couriers are experiencing similar challenges so please allow longer delivery times than usual. We would be grateful if you can be patient and not contact us regarding your order before these times are up so we can reduce the pressure on our customer service team.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Cryogesic Spray

Product code: 2827103
£34.50
(incl VAT)
Cryogesic (ethyl chloride) is a fast-acting vapo-coolant spray that provides rapid, transient, topical analgesia for minor invasive procedures.

The analgesic effect is almost instant because rapid evaporation of ethyl chloride causes cooling and numbing of the skin. This effect last for about 30 - 45 seconds until the skin re-warms, but will vary depending upon circumstances. A multi-use can allowing up to 60 uses.

Ideal for:
  • Temporary pain relief for minor sports injuries (sprains, strains and bruises) and insect bites.
  • Control of pain associated with injections (eg. use of insulin) or other procedures such as removal of splinters.
  • Localised cooling of the skin.
Directions for Use:
Briefly spray the area requiring analgesia until a thin snow film forms (short bursts of spray rather than a continuous flow is usually better). Do not overcool the skin by prolonged spraying as this may cause frostbite. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Cryogesic should not be sprayed near the face, mouth or eyes, nor used on wounds, broken skin, mucous membranes, eczema or other skin conditions.

Cautions and Warnings:
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Not for use on the face, mouth or eyes.
  • Do not use on wounds, broken skin, mucous membranes, eczema or other skin conditions.
  • Do not overcool the skin by prolonged spraying as this may cause frostbite.
Please note that Cryogesic works as a vapo-coolant. This makes it very handy for people who are allergic to topical anaesthetics. It is used as a cryo-analgesic and cold spray.

Please note that we can only ship aerosols within the EU.
