Calypso Sun Protection

image Calypso Sun Protection

On average we should be using around 35ml of Calypso Sun Protect sunscreen per application to ensure sufficient coverage of your entire body. Remember to apply protection to the back of the neck, your ears and tops of feet the areas we tend to forget about protecting.
The time it takes to go red or burn differs from person to person and will also depend on your region. Below is a climate destination guide as an indication to what SPF protection is needed.

Calypso Sun Care FAQ's

Q: Do higher factors mean you will not tan?
A: You will still tan with a high factor but it will take a little longer, your tan will last longer as your skin will have more time to acclimatise to the sun.

Q: What are SPF levels?
A: For example a SPF 30 sunscreen offers 30 times the protection than if you did not use any sunscreen, that means 30 times longer before you start to burn.

Q: How much Sun screen should be used per application?
A: Around 35ml of sunscreen needs to be applied for full coverage.

Q: Is Once A Day Sunscreen effective?
A: Once A Day Sunscreens keep their effectiveness by binding more strongly to the skin, so they last longer. You should be extra careful to apply enough of the product and make sure to cover all exposed skin.
