Almus Chlorphenamine 4mg Tablets 28

Almus Chlorphenamine 4mg Tablets (28) is an antihistamine formulated to treat the allergic symptoms of hayfever and other allergies. The active ingredient is chlorphenamine maleate, which helps reduce histamine-mediated effects and has a sedative effect. It is used to relieve the symptoms of:

• Hayfever.
• Insect bites and stings.
• Allergic reactions.
• Allergic rhinitis.
• Reactions to food, food additives and medicines.
• Nettle rash and hives.
• Skin allergies, dermatitis, prickly heat and heat rash.
• Relieves the itchiness of chicken pox.

Directions for use:
Read the package leaflet before use.
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: One tablet every 4-6 hours (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours).
Elderly: Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine, as you may need to take a lower daily dose (maximum 3 tablets (12mg) in any 24 hours).
Children 6 to 12 years of age: Half a tablet every 4-6 hours. Do not give more than 3 tablets (6 half-tablets) in 24 hours.
Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Warnings:
This medicine may make you feel sleepy. If this happens, do not drive or use tools or machines. Do not drink alcohol.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package. Do not store above 25°C.

Ingredients
Each tablet contains 4mg of the active ingredient: Chlorphenamine Maleate.
Other ingredients: Lactose, Maize Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Pregelatinised starch, Quinoline Yellow Lake (E104), Stearic Acid.
