Live Ultra Brights or Pastel is the semi-permanent range from
Schwarzkopf. It features bold, beautiful colours for people who fancy something a bit different from the norm, and is designed to wash out after 12-15 washes. They contain no ammonia or peroxide, which makes them kinder to your hair than conventional hair dyes. As they do not contain bleach, they will not lighten hair, and so they are best used on blonde or
pre-lightened hair for the brightest colour possible. It can be used on naturally darker or dyed hair, but the result will be more subtle.
Shocking Pink is a hot cyclamen pink shade, which is a fun and trendy colour that really makes blue eyes pop! Although this dye is suitable for a full-head application, it can also be used to add streaks to hair for a more subtle change. You could even try dip-dyeing for the coveted ombre style:
This dye comes as a cream, so it requires no mixing of chemicals, making it quick and easy to apply. It is packaged in a resealable tube, so any product left over from the first application can be stored and used later. As all dyes, including semi-permanent ones, can be drying to hair, the kit also contains two sachets of
conditioners to keep your hair shiny and supple after application.
This kit contains:- 1 tube Live Ultra Brights colour creme 50ml.

Directions for use: (For a full head application): After a successful strand test, wash your hair with shampoo only, rinse, and towel dry slightly so the hair is damp but not dripping wet. Cover any surfaces and clothing to prevent staining, and put a layer of Vaseline around your ears and hairline. (This will help to clean off any dye that gets on your skin during the application. Wearing the gloves provided in the pack, squeeze the cream into the palm of one hand and massage the product into the roots and along the lengths of the hair. Once all hair is covered, wrap in clingfilm or a plastic cap and leave to sink in for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly until the water turns clear, then condition with one of the conditioner sachets provided.
Cautions and warnings: - Always do a strand test before application, even if you have used this dye before.
- Always read and follow the instructions provided in the pack.
- Do not use this dye if you have an irritated, damaged or sensitive scalp, or if you currently have a rash on your face.
- Do not colour your hair if you have ever experienced an allergic reaction after colouring your hair previously or in reaction to getting a temporary 'black henna' tattoo.
- Getting 'black henna' temporary tattoos may increase your risk of allergy to hair colourants.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- This dye is not intended to be used on people under the age of 16.
- Two packs are recommended for a full-head application on people with long (past shoulder length) or thick hair.
