NiQuitin Clear Step 1 21mg 14 patches

Transdermal clear patch in 3 strengths (sizes) containing:

• NiQuitin Clear 21mg (step 1) 114mg nicotine per 22cm sq. delivering 21mg nicotine per 24 hours
• NiQuitin Clear 14mg (step 2) 78mg nicotine per 15cm sq. delivering 14mg nicotine per 24 hours
• NiQuitin Clear 7mg (step 3) 36mg nicotine per 7cm sq. delivering 7mg nicotine per 24 hours

Relief of nicotine withdrawal symptoms, including craving, associated with smoking cessation. If possible, use as part of a smoking cessation plan.

Directions for use:
Adult smokers aged 18 years and over: If you currently smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day, start with step 1 for 6 weeks, then continue with step 2 for 2 weeks, then finish with step 3 for 2 weeks. 10 cigarettes or less, start with step 2 for 6 weeks, then finish with step 3 for 2 weeks. Not to be used for more than 10 consecutive weeks.
Apply the patch to a clean site on the skin once a day, preferably on waking. Remove the patch after 24 hours and apply a new patch to a fresh skin site. Only 1 patch to be worn at a time. See the pack leaflet for further information

Cautions and warnings:
Consult a healthcare professional:

• If you have or recently had heart problems.
• If you have serious liver or kidney disease, uncontrolled overactive thyroid gland or phaeochromocytoma.
• Before use, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
• If you get a persistent skin reaction, remove the patch and tell your doctor.

Do not use:

• If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed in the leaflet.
• If you are a non-nicotine user, an occasional nicotine user or under 12 years old.

Store below 30°C. Dispose of the patch carefully, then wash hands with water only, as instructed in the leaflet.
