Directions for Use:
Install batteries and wait 10 minutes for the device to warm up on first use. If the device has not been used for a long time test the room temperature first and use after a couple of seconds.
Aim the infrared sensor towards the forehead, holding the device approximately 5cm (2in) away. Press the measurement button and the temperature will be display almost immediately.
For accurate readings make sure that there is no hair, cosmetics or coverings on the forehead.
If there is perspiration on the forehead the reading can be taken behind the ear lobe.
Allow one minute interval between two measurements.
