Delivery timescales vary by product. We ship over 80% of our orders either on the same day or the next working day (this is a genuine statistic). We prioritise medicines. Luxury items such as fragrances and electricals are usually back-ordered. If you order a medicine and a luxury item at the same time and the medicine is urgent, then the luxury item may delay your order. If you live within the UK and there is an undue delay, then we will usually be happy to split the order.
On the basket, there is an option to use Parcelforce at a small extra cost. If you are worried about the quality of the postal service in your area, then it is advisable to use this option. Note that we're currently evaluating Special Delivery as an improvement upon Parcelforce, so if you live in the UK you may receive your parcel by Special Delivery rather than Parcelforce. We believe at the moment that this is a superior service, and will change the name of the option on the basket once we have completed our study.
Note that whatever delivery method you choose, we cannot guarantee the despatch time with 100% certainty - no company ever can! However, we are fast and overwhelmingly meet customers' expectations - as Shopping.com's independent review section will testify. If you still have concerns and do require something urgently, or have specific requirements, please contact us to check our stock situation. Please note that the earlier in the day you contact us the more time we have to sort out a query.
The best way to see how much something costs is to start shopping! You can enter goods into your basket, and adjust the delivery country, without having to log in or do anything tedious like that.
We give generous discounts on most of our products. There are some pharmacies that operate solely on a low-price premise by offering liquidated stock, products with a short shelf life or by failing to take responsibility when things go wrong. We do not feel that this is right. At Express Chemist, we operate on a high-quality premise, and offer great customer service at low prices. We don't have a call-centre: all of our staff are knowledgeable, core employees and are empowered to resolve issues fairly and honestly. Customer satisfaction of paramount importance, and our customer reviews are generally outstanding. We feel that it's the duty of a pharmacy to offer a good quality service and not cut corners. However, we understand that some customers are on a tight budget, so if you still feel that a product is unaffordable, do ask for a discount and we will try to help you.
