Live Colour Ultra Brights is a range of semi-permanent colours from
Schwarzkopf. They are bold, striking colours for people who like to turn heads. They usually wash out in 12-15 washes and contain no ammonia or peroxides, so they are kinder to your hair than permanent colourants. As they do not contain bleach, they cannot lighten hair, and so to achieve the brightest colour result, they should be used on blonde or
pre-lightened hair. They can be used on darker hair to achieve a more subtle tone.
Purple punk is an electrifying, deep purple shade that's perfect for purple lovers and goths at heart. This dye can be used for a full head application, streaks and dip dying and would also be perfect for recreating a softer, pastel look as shown in the following video:
Unlike permanent dyes, which can require messy mixing of chemicals, Ultra Bright dyes come as a cream, making them quick and easy to apply. They are packaged in a resealable tube, so you can keep any leftover product from the initial application and use it for touch-ups. As even semi-permanent dyes can strip hair of its natural moisture, the kit also contains two sachets of
conditioners to keep your hair soft, shiny and supple after application.
This kit contains:- 1 tube Live Ultra Brights colour creme 50ml.
- 2 sachets of conditioner 2 x 15ml.
- 1 pair of gloves.
- 1 instruction leaflet
Directions for use: After the strand test is complete, wash and towel dry your hair. Cover any exposed surfaces and clothing to prevent staining and apply a thin layer of Vaseline around your ears and hairline. (This will help you wipe off any dye that gets on your skin. Wearing the gloves provided, squeeze product into your hands and massage the cream into the roots and along the lengths of the hair. When all the hair is covered in dye, wrap it in cling film or a plastic cap and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse hair thoroughly until the water runs clear, then condition with one of the sachets provided for extra shine and softness.
Cautions and warnings: Always do a strand test 48 hours before application, even if you have used this dye before. Do not use if you have a rash on your face or an irritated, damaged, or sensitive scalp. Always read and follow the instructions on the provided leaflet. Do not dye your hair if you have ever experienced an allergic reaction after colouring your hair before or following a temporary 'black henna' tattoo. Getting 'black henna' tattoos may increase your risk of allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. This dye is not suitable for people under 16. For people with long (past shoulder length) or thick hair, two packs are recommended.
