Banana Republic's, Republic collection was launched in 2009 with both genders receiving their own republican scent. As with the women's version Republic of Men comes well presented in a clean, modernist falcon, the grey-brown bottle with its silver stopper takes on the look of more expensive up-market perfumes.
The aroma that Republic of Men projects has a volume to it powerful enough to be noticed against run-of-the-mill generics. With this there is also a degree of refinement, again placing Republic of Men in the 'classy yet affordable' category.
