Anacal ointment is a topical treatment which relieves the symptoms associated with haemorrhoids.It contains a combination of Heparinoid and Lauromacrogol. These ingredients have dual effect to provide maximum relief from pain and swelling:
- Heparinoid - inhibits the production of prostaglandin, a chemical that the body produces in response to an injury. Prostaglandin causes swelling.
- Lauromacrogol - is an anaesthetic that numbs the pain and the itching.
Anacal Ointment relieves the symptoms associated with haemorrhoids, perianal eczema, pruritis, anal fissure, proctitis, periproctitis and after-care of haemorrhoids treated by surgery or injection.
