Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the mucous membranes that cover the white of the eyes and the inner side of the eyelids. It is a very common eye condition that can be very uncomfortable and irritating.
There are five different kinds of conjunctivitis; bacteria, viral, chlamydial, allergic and reactive; each with its own cause.
