Iron is an essential mineral, which is required for the formation of haemoglobin. This carries oxygen to the tissues where it is used for the release of energy from food. Iron is also important for the metabolism of B Vitamins, Calcium and Copper, it boosts the immune system and is beneficial for the health of our hair.
