The Anusol Plus HC formulation in a convenient suppository form. - Olive green Anusol Plus HC suppository containing: Zinc oxide 296mg, Hydrocortisone acetate 10mg, Bismuth oxide 24mg, Balsam Peru 49mg, Bismuth subgallate 59mg, Benzyl benzoate 33mg
- Symptomatic treatment of internal haemorrhoids and pruritus ani
- Adults over 18 years: insert 1 Anusol Plus HC suppository into the anus at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement. Maximum 3 Anusol suppositories in 24 hours. Anusol Plus HC Suppositories are not to be used for longer than 7 days

Anusol HC suppositories are a particularly powerful way of treating internal piles. Anusol Plus HC Suppositories contain the same formulation as regular Anusol suppositories, but with the addition of hydrocortisone which shrinks the swollen internal piles. Use these when your internal piles are particularly swollen, but use for a maximum of one week. If after one week your symptoms have not improved, you should consult your doctor. If your symptoms are improving after one week but you still need to continue treatment, then you should switch to the regular Anusol suppositories.
