Malaria

A disease transmitted from person to person by the bite of a female Anopheles genus mosquito that's infected with the Plasmodium parasite.

Common symptoms of malaria:
Abdominal pain, diarrhoea, muscle cramps, fever, sweating, nausea and vomiting.

Taking Anti-malaria medication before, during and after travelling along with insect repellent products such as creams, sprays, wrist bands and plug ins will lessen the risk of being bitten.
Check your travel destination for malaria risk levels and ensure the correct measures are taken for optimum protection.
