Lamberts L-Ornithine is a naturally occurring Amino Acid. Ornithine is a precursor of Citrulline and Arginine and, when given orally, has very similar biological effects. It is considered to be a non-essential amino acid because it can made from Argenine. It takes part in the release of Growth Hormone and is often used in conjunction with Arginine.

Amino acids are classified as either essential or non-essential. Essential amino acids cannot be synthesised in the body and must be obtained from the diet, whereas non-essential amino acids, whilst still essential for health, can be synthesised in the body and are therefore not classified as 'essential'.
Ornithine releases growth hormone and helps maintain the health of the immune system and the liver as it is a key component in the urea cycle. It has similar properties to arginine since these two amino acids convert into one another in the body, as required.
As with all Lamberts amino acids, Lamberts L-Ornithine is presented in its free-form for maximum absorption. Each capsule provides a full 500mg of L-Ornithine.
Dosage: 1 to 3 capsules daily. It is preferable to take amino acids with fruit juice or water, rather than milk. An amino acid is best taken ½ hour before any meal or at bedtime.
Disintegration Time: Less than 30 minutes.
Suitable for vegetarians.
