L-Glutathione is a tripeptide containing Cysteine, Glutamic Acid and Glycine. It forms the enzyme glutathione peroxidise which is one of the body's most powerful antioxidants. Of its many roles in the body it is best known as a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants help to neutralise harmful free radicals that are produced quite naturally in the human body and which, if allowed to proceed unchecked, can harm tissues and organs.

Amino acids are used by the body to build proteins. Proteins are essential for the formation of cells and are also involved in the biochemical structure of hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters and antibodies. L-Glutamine is involved in the formation of red and white blood cells.
Lamberts L-Glutathione Complex contains Cysteine, a sulphur-containing non essential amino acid which helps in the maintenance of the Immune System by helping to cleanse the body of impurities. It is principally used in detoxification as it boosts glutathione levels but some studies indicate a use in heavy detoxification too. It also contributes to the structuring of proteins in the body.
Lamberts Glutathione complex contains good levels of each peptide as well as complete glutathione to maximise asorption.
Dosage: 1 to 3 capsules daily. It is preferable to take Amino Acids with fruit juice or water, rather than milk. An amino acid is best taken ½ hour before any meal or at bedtime.
Disintegration Time: Less than 30 minutes.
