Glutamine is required for the transamination (or modification) of other Non Essential Amino Acids. It also plays an important role in the maintenance of the body's Nitrogen balance and gut integrity. Glutamic Acid and Glutamine are dominant Amino Acids of Cerebrospinal fluid and are classified as powerful "Brain Fuel" sources. Glutamine requirements are increased in the body during periods of ill health. Disintegration Time: Less than 1 hour. Dosage: 1 to 6 capsules each day with water or fruit juice. Amino acids are best taken half an hour before a meal or at bedtime.
