Meltus Expectorant for Chesty Coughs and Catarrh.- This linctus contains (per 5ml): Guaifenesin 100mg (to help loosen up phlegm), Cetylpyridinium chloride 2.5mg (an antiseptic found in many mouthwashes, lozenges and throat sprays, helps to kill bacteria), Purified honey 500mg and Sucrose 1.75mg (to coat and soothe the throat).
- This expectorant provides relief of colds and catarrh associated with influenza, colds and mild throat infections.
- For adults and children over 12 years only.
- Mild aniseed taste.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years: 5-10ml every 3-4 hours.
Children under 12: not recommended.
