Sterimar Isotonic Seawater-based Nasal Microspray is ideal for ENT (ear, nose and throat) disorders and daily nasal hygiene. It acts as a nasal cleanser, removing dirt, excess mucus and irritants. Sterimar Isotonic contains a dilution of 31.8% of seawater in purified water containing approximately: 959mg of Sodium Chloride in 100ml solution.
Sterimar Isotonic comes in a pressurised aerosol which delivers a micro-fine spray, which gently and safely clears out the nasal passage. Its unique patented nozzle fits all nostril sizes, safely and comfortably, from babies to adults. An automatic sealing valve prevents contamination of the remaining solution so that each spray is aseptic.
Sterimar Isotonic is beneficial for:
- The management of chronic rhinosinusitis.
- Post-operative nasal cleansing to avoid infection & maintain hygiene.
- Restoring natural humidity in the nose.
- Clearing residues from the nose.
- Those who want an alternative to medication.
Sterimar Isotonic is recommended for adults and children. Can be used from birth. It is safe for daily use, as often as desired.
The Isotonic solution contains a dilution of 31.8% of seawater in purified water containing approximately:
959mg of Sodium Chloride in 100ml solution. The seawater solution is filtered and made isotonic (ie, diluted to a physiological concentration).
One can of Sterimar Isotonic Nasal Spray holds approximately 300 doses. Sterimar is a CE medical device (Class IIa)
Directions:
Can be used daily for general hygiene, or to treat a stuffy nose.
Insert the nozzle into a nostril and spray for a few seconds. Allow excess solution to drain before blowing the nose. Repeat on the second nostril.
Adults & children: If you are using Sterimar as a preventative, a one a day application would be sufficient. To ease congestion, every 2 to 3 hours.
For baby: Use once a day for general hygiene or if congested, 3 times a day.
Important! When using Sterimar on your baby, NEVER tip baby's head backwards. This could allow the secretions to run down into the throat.
Always wash nozzle with soapy water after each use.
