Numark Chesty Cough (Guaifenesin) - Soothes and relieves chesty coughs.
Oral solution for the symptomatic relief of coughs due to upper respiratory tract infections. Helps to loosen phlegm and controls, soothes and eases congestion.
Directions for Use: For oral use, shake the bottle well before use. Adults, children and the elderly - 5 or 10 ml. Children 6-12 years - One 5ml spoon ful. Children 2-5 years - 2.5ml.
The doses can be taken every 2-3 hours. No more than 4 doses should be given in any 24hrs. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine. Consult a pharmacist or other health care professional before use in children under 6 years. Not recommended for children under 2 years.
Warning: Check cap seal is intact before first use. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take this medicine if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. This product contains 0.09g ethanol per 5ml dose and should be used with caution if suffering from liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain injury or disease. May cause gastro-intestinal discomfort or nausea/vomiting in large doses. E122 can cause allergic-type reaction including asthma. Allergy is more common in those people who are allergic to aspirin. Ask the advice of a dictor or pharmacist if you are pregnant or breast feeding, under going medical tests, or taking any other medication as its effect may be altered. If you accidently take too much or experience any unusual side effects consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients: EACH 5ML DOSE CONTAINS: GUAIFENESIN B.P. 100MG. OTHER INGREDIENTS: LIQUID GLUCOSE, METHYL-4-HYDROXYBENZOATE (E218), CARAMEL E150, CHERRY MORELLO FLAVOUR, CITRIC ACID, SACCHARIN SODIUM, SODIUM CITRATE, CARMOISINE E122, ETHANOL AND PURIFIED WATER.
