Pripsen Piperazine Phosphate Powder - Eradicates pinworm, roundworm and threadworm. Powder containing: Piperazine phosphate 4g, Senna, standardised 15.3mg. Treatment can be used by adults, children and infants. 1 packet contains two sachets (First Dose & Follow-up Dose) to treat one person. Pripsen Powder can be added to milk or water. Pleasant tasting. No artificial colours and sugar free. Suitable for diabetics. When Pripsen is made into an oral suspension, it must be drank immediately. In the 1st dose, the Piperazine paralyses the worms, which are passed out through the intestines with the help of the senna, but leave behind the eggs. The 2nd dose (taken later as directed below), kills the young worms before they are old enough to reproduce. Dosage: For the 1st sachet dose - Adults, elderly and children over 6 years: 1 sachet at bedtime. Children 1-6 years old: 1 level 5ml spoonful of the sachets contents in the morning. Babies 3 months - 1 year of age: 1 level 2.5ml spoonful of the sachets contents in the morning. For the 2nd follow-up dose - FOR THREADWORMS: Take the second dose 14 days after the first dose to eliminate re-infestation. FOR ROUNDWORMS: Take the second dose one month after the first dose. Additional prophylactic doses at monthly intervals up to 3 months may be necessary to eliminate the risk of re-infestation. For children under 10 years, only one dual dose treatment should be given in any 28 day period without seeking medical advice. Important! The powder has a laxative effect which helps remove the worms more quickly from the digestive system. If you are pregnant or taking a prescribed medicine, consult your doctor before using this product. If you are breast feeding, it is best to feed your baby before taking Pripsen and allow 8 hours before breast feeding resumes. Avoid prolonged use of this product. If you have ever suffered with epilepsy, or have liver/kidney disease then DO NOT take Pripsen.
