Peptac peppermint liquid provides relief from heartburn with acid indigestion.
  • Peptac Liquid can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How to take Peptac Peppermint Liquid medicine:
To be taken by mouth, after meals and at bedtime. Shake well before use. Leave 1-2 hours between taking this medicine and other medicines.

Before you take this Peptac medicine:
Take special care if you are: Allergic to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
On a sodium restricted diet: 10ml of this Peptac Liquid medicine contains about 6 mmoles of sodium.

Tell your doctor if:
You are taking any other medicines especially:ACE inhibitors, analgesics, antibiotics, antiepileptics, antifungals, antimalarials antipyschotics, bisphosphonhates, lithium and penicillamine.

How to take this medicine:
To be taken by mouth, after meals and at bedtime. Shake well Peptac Peppermint Liquid before use. Leave 1-2 hours between taking this medicine and other medicines.

The usual dose of Peptac Peppermint Liquid is:
Adults and children over 12 years2 to 4 5ml spoonfuls.
Children 6 to 12 years.1 to 2 5ml spoonfuls.

Each 5ml of this Peptac Peppermint medicine contains:
133.5mg Sodium Bicarbonate, 250mg Sodium Alginate, 80mg Calcium Carbonate. Also contains Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Saccharin Sodium, Ethyl Parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate (216), Butyl Parahydroxybenzoate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Peppermint Oil, Purified Water.

If you take more of this medicine than you should:
contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Peptac Peppermint Liquid Side effects:
Are occasional and may include constipation, flatulence, stomach cramps and belching.

Warning:
Butyl Parahydroxybenzoate may cause an allergic reaction (possibly delayed).
