A. Vogel Centaurium, known to herbalists as a ‘stomach bitter’ is effective in reducing indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux and symptoms of hiatus hernia.
Centaurium works by increasing digestive enzymes and gut movement. This enhances the breakdown of food, relieving symptoms of indigestion, flatulence, acid reflux, the feeling of fullness and gastric discomfort.
This herb can also help to improve the appetite. This may be beneficial to those with anorexia. This can also act on balancing out the appetite for those with compulsive eating disorders or over eating.
Directions for use:
Adults: 10-15 drops 3 times daily before meals, in a little water.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age 3 times daily before meals, in a little water.
