Water Retention Tablets

Water retention, or oedema, can either occur locally (in a specific part of the body) or more generally in the body. Retention of water is caused when fluids are not removed from body tissue.

Symptoms of water retention can include the swelling of hands, abdomen and ankles. Water retention is commonly experienced during menstruation, standing for long periods of time, or after extended periods of immobility. The causes of water retention may be caused by dietary deficiencies, certain medicines and hormone changes. If you are concerned please talk to your pharmacist or GP.
