Tixylix Dry Cough has been formulated to soothe and relieve children's irritating dry, tickly coughs. This formulated cough medicine contains Pholcodine and is suitable for children aged between 6 and 10 years. Tixylix Dry Cough is a soothing cough suppressant to help your child to feel more comfortable.

    Tixylix Dry Cough is a sugar and colour free, pholcodine based syrup suitable for children aged 6-10 years. Each 5ml dose of Tixylix Dry cough contains 4mg of pholcodine as the active ingredient.

    Tixylix Dry Cough has a blackcurrant flavour making it easier for your child to take the medicine. The medicine also comes with a measuring spoon for easy dosage control.

    Dosage: The following doses are to be given every 6 hours, orally, as required. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. If the condition does not get better in 3 days, talk to your doctor. 6-10 year olds are to take one to two 5ml spoonfuls.

    Precautions, Cautions and Warnings:
  • Always read the label and leaflet.
  • Do not give to children under 6 years.
  • Not suitable for adults or children over 10 years.
  • Do not use if your child is sensitive to any of the ingredients.
  • This medicine contains maltitol.
  • If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
  • Do not double a dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

    Ingredients: One 5ml spoonful of Tixylix Dry Cough contains: Pholcodine 4mg (Pholcodine is a cough suppressant). Liquid Maltitol, Glycerol, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Blackcurrant and Vanilla Flavours, Sodium Benzoate, Acesulfame Potassium and Water.
