Indications:
Softpore is a self-adhesive dressing ideal for low to moderately exuding wounds. Softpore can be used on surgical wounds, minor, cuts, and abrasions.

Precaution:
To prevent skin shearing do not apply under tension. Dressing should not be applied to patients who are known to be sensitive to acrylic adhesives or to individuals who have very fragile or easily damaged skin. Single use only. Do not re-use or re-sterilise.

Instructions of use:
  1. Measure wound site to ensure correct size of dressing.
  2. Open the package and remove the dressing.
  3. Remove one section of backing paper, exposing adhesive surface.
  4. Fixate dressing ensuring wound is centred to the pad.
  5. Remove rest of the backing paper, smooth border firmly to obtain adhesion.
  6. Do not stretch the dressing when applying.
Frequency of change:
Softpore should be changed according to the clinical condition of the wound or when saturated. The dressing may be left in situ for up to 5 days.

Removal:
Hold edge of dressing and slowly peel in direction of hair growth. Dispose of as clinical waste according to local protocols.
