Tixylix Chesty Cough is a formulated cough medicine that relieves chesty coughs, hoarseness and sore throats. It helps loosen catarrah to make coughs more productive and breathing easier. Tixylix Chesty Cough contains Guaifenesin and is a soothing cough suppressant to help your child to feel more comfortable. This formulated cough medicine is suitable for children aged between 6 and 10 years.

Tixylix Chesty Cough is a sugar and colour free, guaifenesin based syrup suitable for children aged 6-10 years. Each 5ml dose of Tixylix Chesty Cough contains 50mg of guaifenesin as the active ingredient.
Tixylix Chesty Cough has a blackcurrant flavour making it easier for your child to take the medicine. The medicine also comes with a measuring spoon for easy dosage control.
Dosage: The following doses are to be given every 4 hours, orally, as required. Do not exceed 6 doses in 24 hours. If the condition does not get better in 3 days, talk to your doctor. 6-10 year olds are to take one to two 5ml spoonfuls.
Precautions, Cautions and Warnings:

Do not use if your child is sensitive to any of the ingredients.
Do not give to children under 6 years.
Not suitable for adults or children over 10 years.
This medicine contains maltitol.
Do not double a dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this product.
Ingredients: One 5ml spoonful of Tixylix Chesty Cough contains: Guaifenesin 50mg (Guaifenesin is an expectorant). Sodium Benzoate (E211), Sodium Saccharin, Glycerol, Sorbitol Solution (70%) (non-crystalline), Citric Acid Monohydrate or Anhydrous Citric Acid, Blackcurrant Flavour, Vanilla Flavour, Acesulfame Potassium, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Purified Water.
