(March 2008) Tixylix Cough & Cold has been formulated to soothe children's coughs, dry up runny noses and help clear congestion... Sugar and colour free Raspberry flavour. 100ml glass bottle fitted with a child safety cap. Measuring spoon included. Dosage: the following doses are to be given 6 hourly by mouth, as required. Do not not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours. Not suitable for adults or children over 10 years. 3 to 5 years: One 5ml spoonful. 6 to 10 years: One to two 5ml spoonfuls. Full list of ingredients: each 5ml of the linctus contains Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride 20mg • Chlorphenamine Maleate 2mg • Pholcodine 5mg. Also contains: glycerol • sorbitol • citric acid • hydroxyethylcellulose • sodium benzoate • flavouring (inclduing raspberry and vanilla flavours) • sodium saccharin • acesulfame potassium and water. Do not use: If your child is sensitive to any of the ingredients. During an acute asthma attack. If your child suffers from palpitations, abnormally fast heart beat or other heart conditions. If your child is also taking medicines known as MAOI's (or has taken these in the last 2 weeks). This medicine contains sorbitol. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
