Niquitin Gum

Niquitin Gum comes in two different strengths, 4mg for those who light up within 30 minutes of waking and 2mg for those who smoke 30 minutes or longer after waking. Using Niquitin Gum allows you to gradually reduce the amount you chew until you have stopped completely.

Step 1: Initial treatment period - 8-12 pieces of Niquitin gum for up to 3 months.
Step 2: Step down treatment period - Gradually reduce gum use to 1-2 pieces daily. Then stop treatment when ready.
Step 3: Chew a piece of Niquitin gum if sudden cravings tempt you to smoke.
