Are you looking for quick and effective relief from acute strains and sprains? Motusol 1.16%w/w Gel is tailored to provide targeted pain relief for adults and adolescents aged 14 years and over.
  • For sprains and strains.
  • 1g of gel contains 10mg diclofenac.


Directions of use:
Use an amount the size of a cherry or walnut 3-4 times a day and gently rub into the skin over the affected site. Wash hands after use (unless they are the site being treated). Apply only to intact, not diseased, or injured skin. Avoid contact with eyes and oral mucous membranes. The gel must not be taken orally. Please don't use it for longer than seven days. If the symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3-5 days, consult a doctor. The maximum daily dose is 16g of gel. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.


Do not use this medicine:
If you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients.
If you have ever developed breathing problems (asthma, bronchospasm), hives, runny nose, or swelling of the face or tongue after taking/using aspirin or another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (e.g., ibuprofen).
In the last trimester of pregnancy.
In children and adolescents under 14 years of age.

Side effects:
This medicine can cause side effects like all medicines, although not everybody gets them.
Some rare side effects may be severe.
If you experience any of the following signs of allergy, stop using Motusol and tell a doctor or pharmacist immediately.
Wheezing, shortness, or tightness in the chest (asthma) (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people).
Skin rash with blisters; hives (may affect up to 1 in 1000 people).
Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat (may affect up to 1 in 10,000 people).
Other side effects are possible:

Skin rash, reddening, itching, eczema, dermatitis (skin inflammation), and contact dermatitis.

Warnings and precautions:
Precautions should be taken to prevent children from touching the area to which the gel is applied.
Do not smoke or go near naked flames- risk of severe burns. Fabric (clothing, bedding, dressings, etc) that have been in contact with this product burns more easily and is a hazard.
Washing clothing and bedding may reduce product build-up but not remove it.
Do not use this medicine in children and adolescents under 14.

Ingredients:
1g gel contains 11.6mg of diclofenac diethylamine corresponding to 10mg diclofenac sodium. Carcomer, cocoyl caprylocaprate, macrogol cetostearyl ether, liquid paraffin, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol (E1520), fragrance (containing citronellol, geraniol, benzyl alcohol (E1519), linalool, limonene, citral, farnesol, coumarin, eugenol), purified water.
