Imodium Imodium is a fast-acting treatment for diarrhoea. It is one of the best-selling diarrhoea treatments at Express Chemist. The original Imodium Capsule is still the most widely used, and is just as effective as it always was. More recently, Imodium Instant Melts have been produced, which melt on the tongue and do not need to be taken with water. They have exactly the same active ingredient as the original capsules. Imodium Plus is a capsule-shaped tablet that contains the same active ingredient as the original capsule, but also contains an ingredient that helps to prevent bloating and flatulence.
