Instructions for use:
Do not use boiling water to fill this water bottle. Fill to a maximum of two thirds capacity. hold the bottle neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back. Expel air from the bottle by slowly lowering it carefully on to a flat surface until water appears at the opening. Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure there is no leakage.
Do not fill using water from the domestic water system as this can prematurely degrade this product. prevent the bottle from coming into contact with hot surfaces, oil and grease.
When not in use empty completely and leave the stopper out and store in a cool, dry place. Prevent exposure to sunlight. Do not place anything on top of the bottle. Check bottle and stopper for damage every time before use.

Do:

• Allow boiled water to cool sufficiently before filling the bottle.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• When using make sure the funnel of the bottle is empty of hot water after the stopper has been closed.

Do not:

• Do not use with infants, persons sensitive to heat (over tiredness, medicines, alcohol, illness etc. can impair sensitivity to heat).
• Let the bottle come into direct contact with skin whilst hot. If there is a possibility of prolonged contact with the skin should occur, an adequate cover should be used to prevent burns.
• Overfill as this may cause the bottle to burst.
• Place anything on the bottle during storage.
• Under no circumstances should the hot water bottle be used as a cushion and sat on.

Warning:
Hot water bottles are not suitable for children under 36 months due to the risk of overheating. This Grey Teddy Fleece Covered hot water bottle is manufactured to requirements in excess of BS: 1970-2012.
