Cutimed Sorbact Swabs are for the management of exuding wounds whether clean, contaminated, colonised or infected.
These sterile swabs are a contact layer dressing intended for use with a secondary absorbent dressing. It helps aid in the healing process by binding infecting microorganisms which are then safely removed with every dressing change.
  • Helps prevents & treat wound infections.
  • Safe removal of bacteria and fungi without releasing active agents into the wound.
  • Effective against most pathogens.
Dressing properties:
  • 5x sterile 4x6cm swabs.
  • Single use only.
  • Suitable for superficial & deep wounds.
  • Suitable for infected wounds.
  • Non-absorbent; allows low & excessive exude to pass through to the secondary absorbent dressing.
  • May be cut to size/shape and apply both sides.
  • Latex free.
  • Suitable for use with compression therapy & NPWT.
Directions for Use:

Please read enclosed leaflet before use.
Ensure the dressing is sufficient size to made full contact with the wound bed. For deep wounds unfold & fluff up one or more dressing and fill the wound Without dense packing.
Fix in place an appropriate secondary absorbent dressing over the wound and contact layer.
Do not leave the dressing in place for more than 7 days. If dressing adhere to the wound, moisten to assist removal and to avoid disruption of the healing wound.

Suitable for use on the following wounds: surgical wounds • traumatic wounds • cavity wounds • fistulas • pressure ulcers • diabetic ulcers • leg/foot ulcers.

Cautions:
  • If wound worsens or does not show signs of improvement after use consult your healthcare professional.
  • Do not use with oily products such as ointments, creams, or solutions.
  • Do not reuse.
