Clearogen FAQsCan/Do I use a moisturiser when using Clearogen?
The acne lotion already contains skin moisturisers. If you want to use an additional moisturiser you can do so as long as it is applied 1 hour before or after using Clearogen.
Can I use Clearogen when I am pregnant?
Clearogen as an natural DHT blocker is safe to use during pregnancy but the Benzoyl Peroxide included in the solutions can cause problems in very rare cases. Please note that Benzoyl Peroxide is FDA approved for use during pregnancy. It is always best to check with a doctor if you are unsure.
Can I use Retin A and Clearogen together?
You can use them together but it may make the Retin A more irritating on your skin, this would depend on your skin's sensitivity. If this occurs just use your Retin A every other day rather than every day.
Can I use Clearogen on sensitive skin?
Some people find that acne treatments dry the skin out and irritate sensitive skin. The combat this, Clearogen gives it's active ingredients in micro capsules which deliver the actives at a low rate over time. This also means that the active ingredients are released all day giving you a better all-day treatment.
Can I use Clearogen at any age?
Yes, Clearogen will work on older skin types as well as younger ones.
Does Clearogen work on body acne?
Yes, just use the system as you would on your facial skin.
How long does it take for Clearogen to work?
It will vary between people. Clearogen will clear existing acne so you should see an improvement within 28 days. For prevention of acne, the product must be used continually.
Are Clearogen's products tested on animals?
The products are not tested on animals.
Can I just use selected products from the Clearogen range?
It is best to use all the products in conjunction with each other. If you find that using them all everyday causes' skin problems such as dryness and peeling then try using them every other day. Some people find that the toner causes irritation so they just purchase the cleanser and moisturiser. It is about experimenting and finding out which skin care routine works best for you.

I have tried many different acne products because of the occasional pimple that pops up or the dreaded out break, after a night of parting .I was skeptical because none of them worked in the past. I never suffered acne as a teen, except for the occasional pimple, but as an adult my face has small breakouts with redness which I learned is mild acne with rosacea.
