Hibiscrub

Hibiscrub is an effective hospital-strength antiseptic and disinfectant that can be used at home. Hibiscrub contains the active ingredient Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v, which is effective against a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, viruses and some fungi. Hibiscrub's antimicrobial formula is even effective against MRSA. Hibiscrub is commonly used in hospitals for pre-operative surgical hand disinfection, hand washing on the ward and pre-operative and post-operative skin antisepsis. Outpatients can use Hibiscrub at home as part of their post-operative care regime.

Hibiscrub antimicrobial skin cleanser can be used at home as an antiseptic hand wash and to keep the skin free from harmful bacteria and help fight against infection. Hibiscrub can be applied undiluted in the shower, much like a shower gel, or added to the water of a bath for whole body washing. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes and ears.

If you are worried about swine flu, it has been suggested that regularly cleansing your hands with a disinfectant, such as Hibiscrub Antimicrobial Skin Cleanser, can help reduce the chances of infection.
