Stugeron is a popular brand of travel sickness tablets suitable for children and adults
  • White tasteless biconvex half scored uncoated tablet containing: Cinnarizine 15mg

  • Effective in the control of travel sickness

  • Adults: 2 tablets 2 hours before travelling and one tablet every 8 hours during journey

  • Children 5-12 years: 1 tablet 2 hours before travelling and half a tablet every 8 hours during journey

How Stugeron works
The inner ear contains the vestibular organs that control your sense of balance. The motion of travelling can lead to these organs becoming confused, leading to a signal being sent from the vestibular organs to the vomiting centre in the brain via the vestibular nerve. Stugeron contains Cinnarizine, which blocks the signals from travelling down this nerve and hence stopping the vomiting centre of the brain from being activated by motion.

Ingredients
  • Active Ingredient: Cinnarizine 15mg.
  • Inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate, sucrose.

    Warnings
Do not take Stugeron if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. If you have parkinson's disease, porphyria, liver or kidney disease or are pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Stugeron. Do not take Stugeron if you are breast-feeding. Note that Stugeron can cause drowsiness, so do not drive, operate machinery or fly a plane when taking Stugeron.
