Andrews is an effervescent powder which is taken orally to relieve stomach upsets. The active ingredients are Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate Citric Acid and Magnesium Sulphate.

Relieves Indigestion, Excess Acid, Symptoms of Over-Indulgence, Upset Stomach and Constipation.
Suitable for adults and children aged 3 years and over.

Original Andrews Salts can be used as an antacid or as a laxative to relieve most stomach troubles. The powder is dissolved in water and can be taken by adults and the elderly, children can take it as long as they are over 3 years of age.
Directions for Use:
Adults: As an antacid - Measure one level spoonful and take in a glass of water (repeat as necessary), up to a maximum of four times a day. As a laxative - Measure two level spoonfuls and take in a glass of water before breakfast or at bedtime. Children over 3 years: Half the adult dose.
Warnings: Ask you doctor or pharmacist:
If you are taking any prescribed medicines; particularly tetrscycline antibiotics.
If you are pregnant.
If you are on a controlled sodium diet.
If you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease.
Ingredients: Magnesium Sulphate 17.4% w/w, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate Ph Eur 22.6% w/w, Citric Acid Ph Eur 19.5% w/w, Sucrose Ph Eur (2.1g per 5ml dose).
