• How To Clean Your Eyes
Foreign bodies such as dust, dirt and make-up enter our eyes on a daily basis. We humans are well equipped to deal with these unwanted visitors; blinking and tear production are natural reactions that we encounter regularly, and, more often than not, they get the job done.
However, our eyes sometimes need a little help with cleaning, particularly if an illness such as blepharitis or dry eye syndrome is also a factor.
Eye bathing is excellent at removing dust, grit and oily build-ups from the eye. Using an eye bath alongside a special eye wash solution allows a thorough clean. Eye conditions or poor make-up removal can lead to a crusting of the eyelids. In cases of crusting an eyelid cleaning routine is recommended.
