Dana

Dana take their name from Greek mythological figure Danae, the mother of Perseus and a classical icon of female beauty. Starting in Spain in 1932 and moving shortly thereafter to Paris, Dana now reside in the US after escaping Nazi occupation in 1940.

Producing a number of famous perfumes during the 30s-50s amongst them 1930s design classic and smash hit Tabu, Dana went on to make the transition from prestige to mass market brand. Along the way Dana have obtained licences from Houbigant and Max factor and despite having some financial problems themselves in the 1990s, still serve today to bring classic favourites from yesteryear to a modern perfume market.
