Madame Ricci and her son Robert founded Nina Ricci in 1932. Originally born in Turin, Italy in 1883, Madame Ricci had a French upbringing and eventually moved to France in 1900. The company launched its first perfume, Coeur-Joie, in 1946. Two-year later L'Air du Temps was created; a perfume that has gone on to be a true contemporary classic, still savored by many people today.
