Pedometers Pedometers are a fun way of keeping a count of your daily steps. Health specialists recommend that we make an effort to take a walk every day. But how many steps should you be taking? Obviously this will differ depending on your age and your fitness and health. The best approach is to use your pedometer to find out how many steps you take in a normal day. When you have found this, try adding 1000 steps the next day. Increase or decrease the amount to suit your fitness yet remember to keep the level above what you would normally take.
